CASE STUDY 1
HS2 Learning Legacy
Role
The HS2 Learning Legacy builds on the learning legacies produced by previous major projects including London 2012, Crossrail and Thameslink London Bridge. Its purpose at HS2 is to capture lessons learned, good practice and innovation from the HS2 Programme aimed at raising the bar in industry, improving UK productivity and showcasing UK PLC internationally. The scope of the project was to develop the a Learning Legacy Framework and implementation plan for approval by the Exec, roll it out it into the business, the supply chain and industry, and handover to a permanent team.

Houses of Parliament Restoration & Renewal
Role
Co.Cre8 developed and embedded an innovative approach to learning and innovation on the Houses of Parliament Restoration and Renewal programme bringing together Continuous Learning, Innovation, process Improvement and Knowledge management programme under one functional umbrella (branded CLIIK) ensuring a learning culture right from the start.

CASE STUDY 3
HS2
Role
Jo Lucas joined Phase 2a of HS2 Ltd, as an independent consultant just after the Route Announcement (SOBC). She led the technical interface to develop the Hybrid Bill ready for deposit (OBC) until handing over to the bill team, mitigating a 17 week delay in the process delivering the Bill to the ambitious original deposit date.

CASE STUDY 4
Transport for London
Role
Jo Lucas, Co.Cre8 director, negotiated the legal framework and Functional Requirements between TfL and HS2 and underpinned these with bridging processes known as ‘The Blue Book’. Co.Cre8 Ltd provided consultancy to TfL through The Nichols Group framework contract. She has successfully reset the relationship between TfL and HS2 and created the framework to mitigate the known risk of working with complex third parties.

World Food Programme
Role
Co.Cre8 were commissioned to conduct a behaviour based exercise through with the WFP CPP team to enable greater, more open engagement with the team to ultimately provide input and support designed to help improve the working culture, team connectivity, relationships, behaviours and working practices.

CASE STUDY 6
Crossrail
Role
Karen Elson set up the Crossrail Learning Legacy to share knowledge and insight, through means such as case studies and technical papers providing lessons, good practice and recommendations to help others. Documents and templates that have been used successfully on the Crossrail programme can be ‘pinched with pride’ by other projects. The Learning Legacy also showcases the experts behind the delivery of Crossrail.

London 2012
Role
Karen Elson, Co.Cre8 Knowledge Director, developed the original Learning Legacy for the Olympic Delivery Authority to collate lessons learned, good practice and innovation from the London 2012 construction programme, aimed at raising the bar in industry and showcasing UK PLC. This has subsequently become the standard methodlogy for major construction projects to share good practice with the industry.
